How RefactorWeb handles account, project, preview and billing information.
Last updated:
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when you contact us, create an account, start a transformation run or request support. This can include your name, email address, project details, reference URLs, business description and messages you send to us.
We also process technical data needed to operate the service, such as run identifiers, preview URLs, logs, browser metadata, security events and billing status. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by RefactorWeb.
How we use information
We use this information to provide RefactorWeb, generate editable Astro exports, manage previews, deliver downloads, send transactional emails, prevent abuse, improve product quality and respond to requests.
We do not sell personal information. We may use aggregated, non-identifying operational metrics to understand reliability, supported platforms and product demand.
Service providers
RefactorWeb may rely on trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, security checks, payment processing, media sourcing and analytics. These providers process information only as needed to support the service.
Current integrations can include Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention and Pexels for media search when a project asks for replacement imagery.
Retention and deletion
We keep account, billing and project records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational requirements and resolve disputes. Temporary previews are designed to be short lived.
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information by contacting [email protected]. Some records may need to be retained when required for security, accounting or legal reasons.
